SICSA is a consulting and construction firm founded in August 1998. It began as an alliance between Claudio Poma and Alberto Baltodano, building single-family homes. In 1999, the construction of a bridge in Nicoya Guanacaste began, subsequently several residential condominiums, industrial warehouses and business parks were built. In 2001, the first luxury housing condominiums were built, such as Condominio Antwerp in Santa Ana and Villas de Bello Horizonte in Escazú. In addition, the construction and remodeling of commercial premises and offices such as DOLE, COPA AIR LINE, STANDAR FRUIT CO, among others, began. During 2005, they began as developers of Ofíbodegas and by 2012 they ventured into government tenders, such as La Paz Civic Centers, rural high schools, among others.
